Today's workout with my new sneaks =)
35 min run with rolling hills.
Upper body day:
DB flat chest press: 3x12 reps
45 degree chest against bench DB rows: 3x12 reps
DB lat pullovers: 3x12 reps
YTWs:n 3x8 for Y, T and W
Great workout…now showering and off to the Devils game with Dan!

today’s munches:
Breakfast: 1 egg and an apple/carrot smoothie (yum!)
Snack: my emergency muscle milk because I didn’t bring enough snacks and was starving before 11 am haha
Lunch: mixed greens with beef cubes, peppers and sauce
Snack: apple cinnamon chobani
Pre-workout snack: homemade protein bar (small piece because I wasn’t that hungry)
Post-workout snack: half of a...

Yesterday's eating
Breakfast: 2 eggs + coffee
Snack: grapes
Lunch: mixed greens, tuna, dried cranberries, tomatoes, olive oil, balsamic vinegar
Snack: Black cherry chobani
Post-workout: homemade protein bar, banana
Dinner: beef cubes, tomato sauce on top of mixed greens
Dessert: 4 strawberries
I prefer spring over summer

Longest run since the marathon...4 miles!!!
Feeling pooped but good at the same time. Wasn’t a breeze, but wasn’t hard either. Love that I am building back up!!! Thanks to @runnyknows (marc from TrainWithMarc) aka my cyber running coach.

29 days left of my clean eating challenge...so far...
Breakfast: spinach and banana green smoothie. yumm! Couldn’t even taste the spinach

Today will be a hard day in my healthy eating...
First we had brownies in my morning class. Then I’m in the graduate lounge and there are muffins, donuts, cake and cookies. SO HARD!!!
But I am persevering! Had strawberries instead of a brownie in my Morning class and a clementine now instead of donuts. I am not giving in!!

Day 30 (countdown style) of my 30 day clean eating...
Was PERFECT! Need to keep this going now for 30 days haha. Here is today:
Breakfast: 2 eggs and 4 oz. of natural applesauce
Snack: Cashews, blueberries, green tea
Lunch: grilled chicken with mixed greens, alfafa sprouts, tomatoes, dried cranberries, olive oil and balsamic vinegar
Snack: Apple cinnamon Chobani
Pre-workout snack: homemade protein bar, green tea
Post-workout snack: 1 egg

Did my lower workout today despite some soreness
my hams are still so sore! Here’s today’s workout:
Squats: 3x12 reps
Deadlifts with a barbell: 3x12 reps
Reverse lunge combined with single leg romanian deadlift: 3x12 reps (these are what kill my hamstrings!)
3 sets of planks with elbows further out in front of you to make it harder (40 second hold)

Had a good workout today with my sis
We did upper and some cardio:
Flat DB chest press: 3x12 reps
DB rows with chest against an incline Bench: 3x12 reps
DB pullover: 3x12 reps
YTWs: ugh just realized I forgot to do these!
Incline bicep curls: 3x12 reps
One arm DB French press: 3x15 reps
Then we did 10 min on the elliptical, 10 min walking on an incline, 10 min jump rope intervals.
Overall a great workout! Legs are still...
Tried the Neutrogena build a tan lotion
Kinda like the Jergens one. I really like it! I used it once and got a noticeable subtle tan which I liked. And I’m not orange! That’s always my biggest worry haha.
What do you guys use? Spray tans, lotions, or tanning beds?
Got in a slow 2.5 miles today
Despite my soreness. Helped to losses up a little but still so sore!! Definitely have a love hate relationship with squats and deadlifts lol
Legs are soooo sore from yesterday

Working an event at RU today called seniors day
They were doing Zumba and yoga. So cute! Wish I could join them lol but I’m in charge of arts and crafts and family feud later. It’s fun but I’m so tires and kinda wanna nap…
Had an awesome lower body workout today
My legs are already sore. Did squats, deadlifts, reverse lunges and single leg dead lifts…all 12 reps for three sets which was toughhh
Now I get to relax in bed and catch up on Revenge :-)

Had a nice run today...2.8 miles
in the middle of the day. It was like 50s, so it was perfect!
2.8 in 30 min…went nice and easy. I have off tomorrow yayyy can sleep in a little.
Tomorrow is finally my leg workout. I hate leg days but I guess as a runner I need them.
Side note: my prof ran 29 freakin’ miles this weekend…in 4:14…
so can we talk about how he ran 29 miles in less time than I ran a...
My salad with tuna is just not doing it for me...

I was suppose to do a leg workout today but didn’t wake up…naturally.

I have been MIA..sorry! It’s been busy at school and I wish I could do venting but it would make this post like 10 pages long. Le sigh. Just feeling disappointed and not good enough which is like…a recurring theme in my life it seems.
Anyways…I took last week off from lifting, I Was kinda getting sick and I just have been feeling blah lately. I went to the gym yesterday though...

Excited to see the final product!
We’re also going out to a devils game Tomorrow and going out with everyone at night. I wanted to plan a surprise party but a lot of ppl couldn’t make it :-/
